From Adelaide
- Head north out of Adelaide along the A1 to Grand Junction Road intersection (approximately 10km out of Adelaide).
- Take the right fork along the A20 and follow signs to Barossa Valley heading for Nuriootpa.
- When you enter the town of Nuriootpa you will see the "Vine Inn Hotel" at the end of a "T" junction, turn right and follow signs to Angaston.
- As you enter Murray Street in Angaston, turn right at the Angaston Hotel into Sturt Street, take the first left into Hill Street West for Caithness Manor 200 metres on your right.
From Melbourne
- Take the Murray Bridge exit off the M1 before you cross the River Murray. Drive through Murray Bridge, turn right at the traffic lights with signpost to Mannum.
- Follow Mannum Road turning left for Palmer. At Palmer turn left at stop signed T junction, 1 km after Tungkillo turn right at sign indicating Angaston.
- At Mt Pleasant turn right at T junction, continuing through Springton and Eden Valley to Angaston.
- Continue along North Street, Angaston, turn left at Murray Street and left at the Angaston Hotel into Sturt Street, then first left into Hill Street West for Caithness Manor 200 metres on your right.
From Sydney
- Take the B19 Nuriootpa turn-off from the A20 (Sturt Highway). Continue south through Nuriootpa's main street to the far end of the town.
- At the southern end of Nuriootpa turn left at the large Angaston sign and follow this road to Angaston.
- As you enter Murray Street in Angaston, turn right at the Angaston Hotel into Sturt Street, take the first left into Hill Street West for Caithness Manor 200 metres on your right.
From Perth or Darwin
- The most picturesque route is to turn off the M1 at Crystal Brook to travel south through the Clare Valley to Tarlee, Kapunda, Greenock and Nuriootpa.
- On entering Nuriootpa from Greenock turn right at the T Junction in the main street at the Vine Inn.
- Follow signs to Angaston, turning right off Murray Street at the Angaston Hotel into Sturt Street and then first left into Hill Street West for Caithness Manor, 200 metres on your right.
